What is the normal shipping time?
- We aim to process your order on the same day and get your product to you as quickly as possible but some items do differ so please check the product description when you are ordering

What warranty do the bikes come with?
- The warranty terms differ between different brands.  Check the warranty section in each product description for details.  If you have any questions then please drop us an email at info@bikeshedonline.co.uk

 

Am I required to wear a helmet when riding an electric bike?
- By Law you aren't required to wear a helmet but we would very much prefer for our customers to wear helmets to keep themselves protected in the event of an accident.

Do you need a license to ride an electric bike in the UK?
- You do not need a license to ride an electric bike in the UK, as long as it meets certain requirements such as a maximum power output of 250 watts and a maximum assisted speed of 15.5 mph. 

Some bikes can reach speeds over 15.5mph, how can I use them?
- Any electric bike that is capable of speeds over 15.5mph can only be used on private land in a responsible manner.  Any non road legal bike that Bike Shed Online feature will explicitly tell you so in the product description.

 Do I need a license to ride an electric bike?
- You do not need any form of license to ride an electric bike

Can you ride an electric bike on the pavement in the UK?
- You should not ride any bike on the pavement in the UK

How long do e-bike batteries last?
- The lifespan of an e-bike battery varies depending on the type of battery, usage, and maintenance. Typically, e-bike batteries can last between 2-5 years or 500-1000 charge cycles.  It is recommended that you charge your bike after every ride to prolong the performance of your battery.
